November 11th in JK/SK

Hello Families!

We had a great and very busy day today! We began our day by drawing a picture of a member of our family that we want to join us for intergenerational day on November 25. Please include that picture as part of an invitation for the family member that can come. Please note that if grandparents are unable to attend, a special relative can join us (aunt, uncle, cousin, etc).

At Tefilah we sang and heard the story about Jacob being tricked into marrying Leah and Rachel. We learned about poetic justice, since Jacob pretended to be Esav.

Back in class, we enjoyed music with Avishai where we sang some Chanukah songs!

Finally, the last half hour of class was all about the story of Chanukah.

Sunday November 18 – Parent Program – all parents can join us for the morning for some fun Chanukah activities. 9:30-11:30

Sunday November 25 – I intergenerational day. Invite a grandparent or relative to come to class. 9:30-11:30
