November 1 – Grade 1 – Ariella

This week, grade 1 had music with Mike, and we enjoyed singing Jewish songs in English, and in Hebrew. 
We continued learning about Mitzvot, and focused on how we can do Mitzvot every day. The students did Mitzvot for each other, handing out art supplies and helping each other clean up. We also acted out a story from the Torah of Avraham and Sarah, who always did the Mitzvah of welcoming guests. 
In Ivrit, we began learning the letter daled, and made a pop-up “delet” (door)
Looking forward to next week, when we will learn the letter Hey, and talk about the delicious things we eat on Chanukah.
