Nov 15 – Junior Kindergarten – Alexandra
Dear JK Parents,
We had a very busy day on Sunday! Sharon the librarian came to read us some Chanukah stories, and we have started to learn some songs in class. We really enjoyed singing Sivivon and spinning like dreidels today!
Sandra also came in, as a part of a school wide project on Art Around the World, to teach us how to make mosaics with foam. Everyone made very beautiful pictures with the coloured shapes. Look out for them on display at Holy Blossom!
Next week, we will continue to talk about some of the symbols of Chanukah including the dreidel. The students will be learning how to play the game. Get your fingers ready to spin!
Just a reminder that next week is also our family program with the SKs. We will be meeting in the Activity Room at 10:45 for a story and a craft activity. Younger siblings are more than welcome! We can’t wait to see you all!
Shavua Tov, have a great week!
Alexandra Bergman
