Monday October 23, 2017 – Grade 6

This week in Grade 6 we began by debriefing last Monday’s trip to Kensington. The students reflected on what they learned about Judaism, and questions they still have after their Kensington tour. The students then continued to engage in a dialogue started during the Friday night mini-retreat about Maimonides’ eight levels of Tzedakah. In groups, we debated the order of all eight levels, and reflected on our choices after learning about Maimonides’ correct order. Next week we will continue our conversation about ancient Jewish history!
