Monday March 6 – Grade 6

Cantor Wunch:

This week our grade 6 class spent some time with the shinshinim. They learned about real-life heroines and compared them to Esther from the Purim story. We ended our session with Tefillah with the rest of the school.  We hope that you all have a Chag Purim Sameach and a great March Break!

Tali:

Our grade 6 students continue to practice the first part of the Haftarah blessings. We also started to talk about Passover and the amount of times the number 4 appears in the Hagada.  We also looked at the four opresors.  It was impossible not to talk about some hate crimes that occur in the world today.  I hope you all have a great break, happy Purim and see you in 2 weeks.
