Hebrew:

Today, again we worked on reading and chanting Ashrei and the Brachot for before and after reading the Torah.  When we are back in 2 weeks we will begin to learn the Brachot for chanting Haftorah.

Core:

Today Grade 6 visited with Debbie, who led our class through an exercise which allowed us to look at Holy Blossom’s values and compare them to our own. As a class we discussed which of HB’s values were most important to us. A large number of students voiced an appreciation for equality of men and women, commitment to life-long learning, and acts of Tikun Olam, repairing the world.
