Monday February 22 – Elana

Last night, the Confirmation class had their first of two sessions learning with Cantor Maissner.  Cantor Maissner was thrilled to be with the Grade 10 class.  He led a discussion and a exercise where the students shared the meaning of their name, an important Jewish memory, their connection to Israel and what Jewish values they think are most important.  The class then was able to visualize and discuss the inter-connectedness of their experiences and values.
