Monday February 1 – Tali

This week, the Grade 6 students had the opportunity to visit the main sanctuary with Rabbi Helfman. In learning the blessings for before and after reading Torah, and in anticipation for their upcoming Bar and Bat Mitzvot, students were able to look at a Torah scroll up close.  They learned about the ways Torahs are made. Rabbi Helfman also spoke a great deal about the history of Holy Blossom’s main sanctuary.
