Monday February 1 – Geri

This evening we watched the DVD When Canada Said No: The abandoned Jews of the MS St. Louis. In May 1939, the ocean liner MSSt. Louis departed Hamburg, carrying Jewish refugees desperate to flee Nazi Germany. The DVD was produced in 2011 by B’nai Brith Canada. We concluded with a very interesting discussion.
