Monday February 1 – Elana

This week the confirmation class had the first of two session with our Shin Shinim.  Noam spoke with the class about Israeli society’s history as melting pot.  She highlighted the time in the country’s infancy after 1948 when a wide variety of cultural groups came together to form a new country. The students had the chance to ‘meet’ 9 personalities which represented the different kinds of leaders who merged to make up the fabric of Israel in its early year. Coming up, our class will be having sessions with several wonderful teachers at Holy Blossom. A reminder for students to please be in class every week and to arrive by 6:30. Below is a tentative schedule for the second term.
