Monday April 4 – Sari

Today the grade 7’s began learning and preparing for our trip to the mosque next week. We reviewed different topics within the muslim religion such as food, gender, prayers, and holidays. We are excited to learn more next week first hand on our trip, to see the similarities and differences with Judaism.

During the second half Geri was working with the students on holocaust education. We were able to learn about and address many issues that people faced while in the camps/war, and afterwards when attempting to move to new places. We addressed the topic of each person being one voice, and continuing to represent the Jewish people and stand up against hate.
