Monday April 11 – Elana

Dear Parents:

The grade 8, 9 and 10 classes had a unique opportunity to step back in time this week.  The students participated in amazing walking tour of old Jewish Toronto. Starting at the Cecil Street Community Centre, the group wandered past Kensington market and along College St.  The final stop on the tour was the First Nareyver Synagogue where the students had a chance to learn about some of the Jewish families who lived in Toronto around the turn of the century.
