Marvin Warsh, 97, flew Lancaster bomber in Second World War via Toronto Star
Last Sunday, a WWII bomber flew over our Brimley Rd. Cemetery, just before the funeral of Marvin Warsh. This wouldn’t have been remarkable, except that Marvin was a navigator in the same aircraft in the Second World War, where he went to “Get Hitler.”
As we prepare for Remembrance Day, we think of those who returned, like Marvin, and those who died in service to Canada. Please join us this Shabbat as we honour and remember.
