March 31 in Grade 2

This week in grade 2 we learned about the different components of the seder plate! We talked about the egg, horseradish, parsley, shank bone, bitter herbs, and charoset. Each student got to decorate their own plate and match the pieces to their plate! We also got a special visit from our Shinshinim and we learned about some of the major cities in Israel.

In Hebrew we learned the letter Zayin, which makes a “Z” sound and a new vowel that makes and “OOO” sound. Students practiced their vowels with a game of Bingo.
