During the past thirty years Hankus Netsky, a world famous musician and composer, has led the Klezmer Conservatory Band (KCB) in becoming the voice of Klezmer and Yiddish songs.
From Yiddish standards to rousing dance medleys and little known gems, KCB musicians have served as important ambassadors in promoting the universal appeal of Jewish music.
Over the years KCB has appeared at many major venues across the U.S.A, Europe and Australia.
The band has worked with Robin Williams, Joel Grey and Itzhak Perlman on many occasions.

Beny introduced me to the wonderful, voluptuous and crazy world of the Klezmer Conservatory Band last year. What joie de vivre! A life force unto it’s own! Not only do they energize me with their music—they transport me to different worlds–of the shtetl as well as the contemporary. Each musician (and there are 11 of them) is a consummate professional. The band as a whole has performed around the world for 30 years. When I say they’re tight, they’re tight! I can’t wait to see them playing in Holy Blossom’s sanctuary this May 13th! It will certainly be the musical highlight of 2015!

I’m excited to hear that the Klezmer Conservatory Band is coming to Holy Blossom. KCB rose to prominence with the growth in popularity of klezmer music, and became one of the top modern klezmer groups. I started listening to their music several years ago and continue to enjoy it. They’re talented musicians and play great music. Thanks to the Musical Heritage program – this will be an amazing show!
