Kids Mitzvah Club is back in action: Children’s Choir
“As Jews, we are commanded to bring happiness into each other’s lives, and what better way to do so than through song?”
The Kids Mitzvah Club is pleased to announce the launch of a new KEF option, starting in January – kid’s choir! Each Sunday, the kids will learn Hebrew songs with Cantor Maissner and Mike Morgulis. As part of the choir, they will be given the opportunity to perform for elderly community members and to record a CD.
There will be two sessions offered – Sundays at 11:30-12:30 for JK-Grade 2. Cost is $50 for the session, which will cover the recording of the CD and musical support for the choir.
If you are interested in having your child join the youth choir, please email kidsmitzvah@holyblossom.org.
To celebrate this exciting new group, we will be hosting a sing-along event on January 26 from 11:30-1:30. All Holy Blossom families are encouraged to join us and to bring your parents/grandparents/great-grandparents to enjoy songs, stories and pizza. The Temple Singers will also be there to help with the singing.
