Junior Kindergarten – Sept 27th

Dear JK Parents,
We had a great day learning about Sukkot! After making some decorations for our Temple Sukkah, we heard a story about decorating a Sukkah. We also made paper Lulavs and Etrogs to decorate our home Sukkot. We talked about how this holiday happens when all sorts of fruits and vegetables are ready to pick, and we all shared our favourites.
Next week, we will be having a Simchat Torah celebration. We will be making and decorating Torah scrolls and then marching and dancing with them. If you haven’t already, please send two empty toilet paper tubes with your child next week. Thanks!
