Junior Kindergarten – Alexandra

Dear JK Parents,
Today the JKs talked about making a fresh start for Yom Kippur. We read a story about saying “I’m sorry” and thought of things that we felt sorry for. Then it was “out with the old, in with the new”, as we “threw out” those things that we did wrong last year and thought of ways we could help others next year. To get started on helping others, we decorated our own Tzedakah boxes to use at home.
Over the next two weeks, we will be celebrating Sukkot and Simchat Torah. The JKs can look forward to making their own lulav and etrog next week. On October 4th, we will be preparing for Simchat Torah by making our own Torah scrolls. Please save two toilet paper rolls for this special project. Bring them in any time in the next two weeks!
