JTEM (Jewish Teen Experience Midtown) is ready for registration!

We hope the start of summer has been an enjoyable one for you and your family.

JTEM (Jewish Teen Experience Midtown) is a new teen program that connects participants in grades 8-12 with each other and meaningful Jewish learning experiences. JTEM is a partnership of Holy Blossom Temple, Beth Tzedec Congregation and Beth Sholom Synagogue. Our three liberal minded institutions are working together, a first in Toronto, to offer unique and relevant classes with different and interesting ways to relate to Jewish themes.

We hope that our parents and grandparents will share with our students their support for our program and importance of Jewish community. Learning and socializing together strengthens those ties.

Our course offerings will be diverse. We will have courses on text study to 3D printing, theatre to social justice, Jewish law to Hebrew language. Students will have an opportunity to choose their own course study with amazing faculty from our community.

Classes will meet each Monday, 6:30-8:30 pm with each of our congregations hosting a term. Holy Blossom will be the first term location.
