Joshua Nelson: Jewish Gospel Music
[line]
Dear Friends,
Shabbat Shira is behind us with much in the way of study in depth about Hassidism and music, as well as exploring the grandeur of Kedushah, the Sanctification in Jewish liturgy.
Now is the time for fun and light, pure joy and entertainment. Joshua Nelson, my personal dear friend and most vivacious Jewish entertainer, is coming once more to our Temple to rock us into lively rhythms and lighten up our Temple with his passion for Jewish Gospel Music. Joshua is the exponent of his African American Jewish heritage. He wakes up his audiences with shouts of joy and exultation.
We remember years ago when he sang with extreme vigour “Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho” and there was not one seat left in the house. Don’t miss this great performance – multi-generational – appeals to all.
