Sandra Merovic delighted us last night with her presentation of Jews of Brazil. She took us from the 1600’s to today with 120,000 Jews in Brazil, from the first synagogue and the fascinating blend of Hebrew and Portuguese expressions. Through personal stories, historical and present day film, guests and family from Brazil to share with us, and most deliciously Sandra treated everyone to her home made chocolates.
It was a very special evening enjoyed by all.
