Hello Families!
Welcome back. I hope you had a wonderful, restful break.
We introduced Tu Bshvat today. Through the help of the tree puppet, Mr. Eytz (Mr. Tree), we learned about how trees look in each Canadian season. We talked about the food that grow on trees, or come from their “homes”, and the importance of trees. We then spoke about the almond tree in Israel and how it blossoms a beautiful colour, usually around this time of year. It’s the first tree in Israel to bloom. We read the book “Happy Birthday Tree” a Tu Bshvat sorry by Madelyn Rosenberg.
We had music with Avishai and enjoyed his songs about trees, vacation and going to the park.
Have a good week!
