January 11 – Grade 6 Project Tikvah – Sandra

Dear parents of  grade 6 Project Tikvah,

Welcome back and Happy 2016!
As part of our Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparations we learned the first Torah Blessing.
We read it and started to learn the melody.

For next week the students have been asked to sing along with the melody, which was sent previously. Please make every effort to ensure that your child is practicing the Torah Blessing.

In the second hour our Grade 6 students met with Geri Durbin as she continued to explore the message of the Holocaust. This learning will continue throughout the year.
