January 10 – Junior Kindergarten – Alexandra Bergman

Dear JK Parents,

We had a wonderful first day back! It was great to see everyone again and hear everyone’s stories from winter break.

Today we talked about why we drink wine or grape juice on Shabbat and made our own Kiddush cups. We also had grape juice with snack today so that we could practice saying the blessing for wine. We also continued to work on our creation books. Today we learned about the creation of animals that live in the air and in the water. Next week, we’ll be continuing on and learning about the creation of animals that live on land. We’ll also be having a music class.
