January 10 – Grade 4 – Sandra Merovic

Dear Parents of Grade 4 students,
Welcome back and Happy 2016!

It was a great start back into the swing of things. We talked about Jerusalem. the Old and the New City. The students did an Art project of the Old City of Jerusalem using foil paper: a piece of art that you will see soon.

In Hebrew we reviewed all of the Hebrew we have learned thus far, and we worked on new vocabulary which included the words from the creation story: What God created on each day.

Please remind your child to read the Hebrew homework for next week.

Looking ahead: You are invited to join us for the presentation of the Israel projects at 9:30 am followed by the Service at 11:00. Our service concludes at 11:30. The students will have a final hour until 12:30 for Hebrew.
