January 10 – Grade 2 – Dara Dishy

Shalom Grade 2 Families!

This week we had a visit from our Shinshinim and learned about different important places in Jerusalem. We learned about Har Herzl (the military cemetery), Yad Vashem (the Holocaust memorial), the Knesset – Parliment, and the Western Wall. Using the computer and the projector, the students took a tour of these sites using Google Maps  – we went to the Kotel, around Har Herzl and inside the Knesset.

In Hebrew we reviewed all lessons and moved onto Lesson 15, the letter TET.
