January 10 – Grade 1 – Ariella Markus

The grade one students were so excited to see each other, and to share stories about what they did over winter break!

This week, we reviewed all of the Hebrew letters that we learned so far, using drawing, colouring, and alef-bet puzzles. We also learned a new letter, tet. In honour of the letter tet, the students got to try on a tallit. We talked about how wearing a tallit can help us feel ready to pray.

Next week we will be learning the letter yud, and continuing our class project of creating an Alef-Bet book.
