It Takes a Village… Sisterhood Project Raffle

It takes a village to build a community and together we are all members of the village at Holy Blossom Temple.

As part of our community, Holy Blossom Temple Sisterhood strives to help to lead the way to make our house a home to all.
The heart and soul of any community is the people that make it home.  Together with our clergy, staff, lay leaders, many volunteers and all of our temple members, our village is sustained each and every day. Our Shabbat morning greeters, our warm, welcoming ushers and many other hard working volunteers help us to feel kindness and caring. This makes a difference.
It can be the offer of a warm cup of coffee on a cold day, being part of a minyan at morning or evening or Rosh Chodesh services or even helping someone find their way when they are lost in the building. It is the simple gestures that make us part of a community.
Holy Blossom Temple Sisterhood strives to be inclusive, warm, welcoming and cutting edge in programming as well as in our efforts to sustain the beauty of our Temple. From treasures sales, mah jongg evenings, zumba classes and our Project Raffle we endeavor each year to find ways to make a difference.
Sisterhood is continuing our efforts to raise funds to develop projects that make a difference. We have found many wonderful Projects to help to enhance our Temple from Torah mantel covers to wifi.  These Projects are made possible by the funds that we have raised through your generous contributions and our annual Sisterhood Project Raffle.
This year, our Project Raffle is new and exciting. Through your lottery ticket purchase, you will be eligible to win a fabulous $2500.00 voucher for travel to be redeemed and $500.00 cash to be used towards accommodation.   Tickets will be available to buy from Sisterhood and the Temple office (contact Elana at 789-3291, ext. 221).  Only 600 tickets will be sold at a cost of $25.00 for each ticket. The draw will take place on November 22, 2015.
