Issues in Contemporary Jewish Life with Rabbi Dow Marmur
By Rabbi Dow Marmur.
Dear Friends,
I hope you’ll join me on some or all of the five Thursday in October at 7.30 p.m. at the Temple to consider some of the issues that preoccupy teachers and exponents of contemporary Judaism.
The topics I’ve chosen are inspired by an essay on the thought of David Hartman – one of the most important exponents of contemporary Judaism – who died earlier this year. Though my views are by no means his, I’ll be referring to him and many others from whom I’ve learnt much.
There’ll be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
We look forward to attending these sessions.
