Israel Engagement Community Award for Holy Blossom Temple
Great news. Holy Blossom Temple has been awarded the second annual Israel Engagement Award by UJA Federation, in recognition of the scope and depth of our Israel-related activity.
In particular, Holy Blossom was the first institution in Toronto to engage Israeli “Shinshinim” – young emissaries who have made Israel come alive to students in our Religious School, at Leo Baeck and to our youth groups.
Holy Blossom was also among the first to initiate an “Israel Engagement Project” with representatives of the Jewish Agency in Israel. You’ll hear more about this in the near future.
And of course Holy Blossom is known for the quality of our educational and cultural programs on Israel. It’s a credit to all who have been involved in these programs to receive this city-wide recognition.
Kol haKavod to you all.
