Holy Blossom Welcomes Bernie Schwartz

On November 12, 2018, the Holy Blossom Temple staff received word from Russ Joseph, our Executive Director, that he had asked for and been granted a medical leave of absence. Russ wrote: “The short term plan is to look for someone who can come in and help to manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the Temple.”

We are pleased to announce that Bernard Schwartz, CPA, CA has been retained and will be advising us in the capacity of the Interim Administrative Coordinator. Bernie a retired partner at BDO has over 35 years experience in public accounting. He provided financial, operational and tax services to Canadian and international companies in various industries and not for profit organizations. Bernie is a Past President of Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda Synagogue in Toronto.
