An Evening from “Heart to Heart”, with Lina Medlij

Monday, February 24 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

Lina Medlij, a Heart to Heart* alumnus will join us on Monday evening, February 24 at 7:30 p.m. for a stimulating and exciting look at a wonderful program which brings Israelis both Arab and Jewish alongside Toronto counterparts.

All teens (Grade 7-12) and their parents are invited to participate in this dynamic conversation. Lina will share her experience from her time with Heart to Heart and her hopes for the future.

*Heart to Heart is a three-week coexistence program where Jewish and Palestinian Israeli youth from Israel come to Canada alongside their Canadian counterparts. Daily programming involves group-building activities, hiking and canoe trips, educational activities about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and discussions about personal narratives and perspectives.
