Holy Blossom Temple N’ginah Band
Holy Blossom Temple N’ginah Band 🎵
Singing is the making of the words more beautiful by means of music; the singing voice is only more of the means to this end. Music lives in the spheres where words do not reach.
Words are beautiful in themselves, but here at Holy Blossom, we are so fortunate and blessed to have the best of the best. The highest quality of music making.
Our own members who are music lovers and make it a habit to volunteer and donate their time and instrumental talent to enhance our worship services and raise the aesthetic bar thus adding to the spirituality of the occasion.
We created two smaller bands since the numbers of the musicians was so large and overwhelming for the space in which we normally worship. We had to split the group in to two smaller bands in order to join us on Friday nights at KABBALAT SHABBT services. The bands are playing with us on each of the second and fourth Friday nights of the month.
The exuberant sounds of the music is really lifting the spirit and the celebratory nature of KABBALAT SHABBAT.
These services are special occasion and create a joyful atmosphere. We invite all our congregation membership to join us in ushering SHABBAT in a special way.
I personally invite anyone who plays an instrument to be in touch with me and let me know of your instrumental skills. We would love to have you join our fold and become one of N’ginah Band members. We gather and jam a bit only before services and follow the music booklets which I prepare for each band. I know you would love it.
With harmonious greetings,
Beny

Rabbi Satz (guitar) and Rabbi Helfman (trombone) formed the core of this week’s N’ginah Band. We are fortunate to have rabbis who not only teach, but also perform music to enhance our services.
