Havdallah Open Mic
On a dark, cold January Saturday night, nothing warms the body and soul more than Havdallah, good food and singing with friends.
We’ll have some house musicians and song leaders to get us started and we are inviting those who would like to share a song or two with the rest of us via an ‘open mic’ session. Think of it as an indoor campfire song-session!
Please contact Jan Simonsky at Sisterhood to bring a dish (this is the admission price) and contact Mike Morgulis at Brotherhood to bring a song or two.
The event is open to all ages; please RSVP above as soon as possible but no later than January 8th.
I am interested in attending the Havdallah programme on Saturday evening,
Jan 11th. I can bring kosher food products.
I hope that the weather co-operates!
Thank you,
Leah
Thanks Leah,
We’re looking forward to it. Please contact Jan to see what food she needs you to bring and if you’ve got a song or two, or a request, please let me know.
Stay warm!!
Mike
I would like to come to the January Havdallah Open Mic event. Is there a charge for it?
Hi Joel, there’s no admission charge, we just ask that you bring something for dinner that could feed 6 or so people. Please contact Jan from Sisterhood sisterhood@holyblossom.org to find out what she needs you to bring. And if you’d like to sing/perform, please let me know what you’d like to do. If you have a request for a song, let me know that as well. brotherhood@holyblossom.org
Looking forward to hearing you, and hearing from you!
Mike
I had already made tentative plans, which are now confirmed, for this Sat, so,
I don’t think I will be able to attend this time, but, maybe another time
thanks anyways
