Shalom Grade 2 Families!

This week, we learned all about Tu B’Shevat. We learned that it is the birthday of trees in Israel and marks the beginning of springtime in Israel.  The students read Sammy the Spider’s First Tu B’Shvat then planted pot beans to take home! They need to be watered only a little bit everyday and enjoyed!

In Ivrit, we reviewed Lessons 13-16 with a Hebrew Quiz. The students then finished the day with a few games of Hebrew Hangman.

Next week, we will start practicing for our year end performance in May. In preparation for it, if you have any cardboard/moving  boxes at home that you do not need, please send them to school with your child!
