Grade 2 – September 27th

Shalom Grade 2 Families!
This week we focused on the holiday of Sukkot! We started our morning decorating the Holy Blossom Sukkah, using a variety of materials. We then had a visit from our librarian, Sharon. Sharon read us a story about Sukkot and the tradition of inviting guests into our sukkah, hachnasat orchim.  We spoke about how we welcome people into our homes and our communities and make them feel  special.
In Hebrew we reviewed all our letters, Shin, Bet, Tav, Kaf, Lamed and Hay. Next week we will learn Mem and learn  about Simchat Torah!
