Sunday January 24, 2016 – Ariella

This week in grade 1, we had a great time learning about Tu B’Shevat. We talked about why trees are important, and things we can do to protect our planet. We drank grape juice at our Tu B’Shevat seder, and all the students worked together to create an “HBTree”, covered in fruit, flowers, leaves, and animals.

We learned the letter Kaf, and the word Kelev (dog). Stay tuned for week, when we will learn the letter Lamed, and do more fun activities!
