Grade 1 B – Ariella

Today we reviewed the letter alef, and drew things that begin with the “a” sounds (apple, alligator). Next week we will begin the letter bet, and will decorate a bet to look like a house (bayit).   We talked about traditions of Yom Kippur, and we also went to music and learned some Yom Kippur songs.
Please note that next week, Sept. 27 – we will have our special Grade 1 members’ pre-Consecration program. Met us in the Youth Chapel for a service at 9:30 am.
There will be no KEF (after-school program) on Sunday September 27th. Everyone is invited to decorate the Temple Sukkah at 11:30 am.
