Gala Concert at Beth Emeth Synagogue

The Toronto Council of Hazzanim is presenting a Gala Cantorial concert on Tuesday evening, October 15^th, 2013 at Beth Emeth Synagogue, featuring nine of Toronto’s talented Cantors and together we will welcome back the world-renowned Cantor Benzion Miller from New York.  We will all be accompanied by the eminent Cantorial accompanist, Cantor Daniel Gildar, with instrumental ensemble.  The program will feature Cantorial, Israeli-Chassidic and Broadway repertoire.

Proceeds of our concerts grant scholarships to Cantorial students, as well as provides funds for seminars, Jewish music programming for Baycrest residents and Jewish Music scholarships.  As always, we share our proceeds with worthwhile local Jewish causes.  This year we will channel funds to Reena and Akim, helping to provide for the needs of handicapped Jewish children in Toronto.
