February 10 in Grade 3

This week we celebrated disability and inclusion awareness month and we all crafted people and animal figures from the same materials (sponges/straws/pipecleaners). We discussed how we are all unique but the importance of kindness and generosity because we are all really not that different. In Hebrew we focused a lot on using dots and how when used even under the same letter-the sound can be totally different. And we ended with Hebrew Letter Yoga! The students got real creative on representing each Hebrew letter physically.
