February 10 in Grade 2

This week in grade 2 we talked about the importance of “ve ahavta lereiacha kamocha,” love your neighbour like you love yourself. We discussed what this means and how we can apply it in our daily lives. Since February is disabilities awareness month, we focused on how we can help people with different mental and physical disabilities.

In Hebrew we learned two new letters! The letter “peh” which makes a “p” sounds and the letter “samech” which makes a “s” sound. Additionally, we learned the word “pesach” in Hebrew which means Passover.
