Family Friendly Shabbat Shira with The New Gershonites!
Friday, January 30, 2015
6:00 p.m.
Co-Sponsored by Leo Baeck Day School Parents at Holy Blossom Temple, Holy Blossom Temple Religious School and the Musical Heritage Committee.
This Shabbat Shira (Shabbat of Song), Judy & David, are joined by their son Jared to make The New Gershonites! Their soulful and uplifting harmonies will inspire us during our congregational Kabbalat Shabbat services. This is truly a not-to-be-missed service for families of all ages.
The service will be followed by a semi-potluck dinner and communal song session/concert. For the after dinner concert, musical selections will span from the traditional to the latest melodies gleaned from summer camp “super spesh” song sessions. The music of The New Gershonites encourages active participation, bringing us all to raise our voices as one community.
A truly multi-generational event, the service is open to all. The dinner and song session are most suitable for school-aged children, high school students, and their extended families.
Please RSVP for the communal semi-potluck dinner.
