Give Bubby a Break!

On the first Friday of every month during the school year, 2014-15, we will be gathering for monthly Family Friday Night Services and Dinners.  The service, co-led most regularly with David Gershon of Judy & David fame is appropriate for children of all ages.  Worship and storytelling begin at 6 p.m., and are followed by a semi-potluck dinner.  Families are asked to bring a dairy-free and nut-free side-dish (coordinated the week before).  We provide the main course (kosher chicken unless you let us know you are vegetarian).

This is an evolution from our current twice-monthly Tot Shabbats into one Tot Shabbat a month (on the third Friday appropriate especially for children 0-5 followed by a vegetarian potluck dinner, plus this Family Friday Night appropriate for families with newborns all the way up to children not yet of the age of becoming Bat/Bar Mitzvah.

If you are interested in giving Bubby (or yourself) a break and pre-paying for eight Friday night dinners for your family from September to June, the cost is $234.  For those that do not want to subscribe to all dinners or want to add relatives and guests, the cost is $12/adult and $7/child per dinner for HBT Members.
