December 9 in Grade 3
This past Sunday was particularly festive for grade 3 as we celebrated the last day of Chanukah by making our own 3-D paper dreidels! While doing so, we took the time to learn the Hebrew letters that are written on every side of the spinning top. The morning got more exciting as we watched some of our classmates perform in the choir during Tefilah. After which, we decorated Chanukah cookies that were shaped like menorahs. It only made sense that the day culminated in various dreidel tournaments! We made sure to get some Hebrew games in that involved reviewing counting the numbers 1 through 6, as well as various sounds and letters of the alphabet.
