December 6 – Grade 3 – Maya
We started the day with a regular routine of singing Hatikvah. We were so please to finish up our Chanukiyot and taken them home to light the first candle tonight.
Thanks so much for our great leaders (Shamashim) today. Ruby and Leah who helped us through the day including during Service. We were so lucky to have Sharon the librarian come and visit us today. Sharon read us a book called “Just enough is plenty” by Barbara Diamond Goldin, which was followed by a great discussion, “what am I grateful for”?
We are so proud of all the beautiful Chanukah Brachot Cards that all the students decorated. We practiced reciting the Brachot for Chanuka. Also, we made a 3D S’vivon.
During Hebrew we introduced the letter “Ayin” as in “Shema”. We completed our second quiz.
Next week, we will continue to work on lesson #10. Please ensure all are reviewing the letters/keywords of the lessons through lesson #9 included in the website: http://www.behrmanhouse.com/click-and-read-free.
Wishing you and your families all the best for Chanukah and looking forward to the last session next Sunday. Please ensure to be on time at 9:30am we have a special project.
Chag Chanuka Samech!
