December 6 – Grade 1 – Daniella

During our Shinshinim program on Sunday, we learned about about the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Each of us wrote a little note to put in the wall and our Shinshinim Noam and Bar will take them to Israel for us when they go back for a visit at the end of December. Our class also explored the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo where we learned about different animals in the zoo; each student got a picture of a different animal they found on the map.
Next week is our Chanukah Party we are all very excited for! In class next week, we will be reviewing what we have learned this past year and learning the letter Yud.
I want to thank all parents for coming out and helping us make chanukiot on Sunday. They were all so beautiful, and hopefully you can use them on the second night of Chanukah. Happy Chanukah!
