December 16 in Grade 3
Our last class before the holidays, we revisited some life cycle terms, such as, brises, baby namings, as well as the terms Tzedakah and Mitzvot. We were lucky to have a visit from the Shinshinim from Israel, who played a fun game to learn about what we all have in common called,”Where the Wind Blows”. In Hebrew, we grouped Hebrew letters with their English letters that make the same sound. We also learnt the words brother and sister (Ach and Achot) through the game password. And lastly, we broke off into groups to create our own improvised skits, which included some Hebrew letters and sounds!
Have a lovely break!
