Construction updates (almost) as they happen!

For the week of March 9th.

If you’ve visited us at HBT in the last few days, or taken a look at the photos or video on our Facebook page, you’ve seen the progress we’ve made on preliminary work to temporarily house Temple activities during Phase 1 construction. We’re underway on the partial partitioning of 2 classrooms on the 2nd floor of the school wing … one will be the interim location of our Early Childhood Centre and Religious School Offices. The other will accommodate our new elevator and its vestibule.
And speaking of that new elevator, we are in the process of decommissioning the walk-in refrigerator in the kitchen on the lower level, which is really just a fancy word for demolishing it. This will make the necessary room for the new elevator pit.
Next up on our construction schedule… work will begin soon to house temporary offices on the 1st and 3rd floor of the school wing.
