Construction during the High Holy Days
Renewal construction updates (almost) as they happen, for the week of September 21, 2015.
Just as we all take a break from our usual routine during the High Holy Days, so too have our construction trades temporarily stopped most of their work, knowing that we have needed full use of our building throughout the holiday season. They will be back at work later this week – other than on the first day of Sukkot and on Shemini Atzeret – aiming to finish off the remaining preparatory tasks (including commissioning our new elevator) as soon as possible, so as to enable us to stay on campus throughout the balance of our Phase One construction, including the much-anticipated creation of our new central Atrium and Family Chapel.
Also, soon after the holidays, all of our staff will move into their temporary offices in the school wing and will be ready to serve the congregation from these “new” spaces. We hope to keep the disruption to a minimum and, from our congregation’s perspective, the move should be seamless. A map indicating where our staff will be located will be posted on our website soon.
As always, we thank you for your ongoing support and patience throughout the process. For the most up to date photos and video of construction in progress, please click here.
