Consecration! Our very special ceremony for our Grade 1 students

We had an amazing gathering of the congregation’s grade 1 students along with their parents, or grandparents, or aunt and uncles joined together to prepare for Consecration!

Consecration is our very special ceremony when our Grade 1 students are recognized for their study of Hebrew, and numerous topics in Jewish learning.

At our program on Sunday students unrolled a Torah scroll along with their parents, and then created their own Torah boxes which will house the very special Torah that they will receive on Simchat Torah, October 24th.
